This is my favourite kind of business book- the information is presented as a story.
We read the story of how Kathryn was thrown into the CEO position of DecisionTech. The current CEO was the founder of the company who had great startup skills, but lacked the ability to run a large business.
Her executive team display all the dysfunctions in the book 😉 and we take the position of a fly on the wall as she deals with them.
The accompanying workbook is not as much fun because it delves more deeply into the whys and hows of the dysfunctions. It offers real exercises so it would be a great resource for anyone dealing with the issues raised in the book.
